Shawn Dempsey is a well known web designer and a genius in his own mind. Born in New Jersey (USA) in 1966 he grew up primarily in Edison, New Jersey. Friends would say, "He's a decent guy." If they could even remember him.

As an honor roll student in High School, Shawn had aspirations for doing great things. This desire to excel continued through college even while he and his friend Pete skipped classes to play pool with guys in drag. (don't ask)

His dreams were soon realized as he began a career as a ditch-digger, err, archaeologist. After five years of lame "Indiana Jones" jokes from friends and family Shawn gave up his lucrative $8/hour job to throw bags on planes for Continental Airlines and listen to wealthy New York women whine about how their prized pet dogs were being handled by the airlines. (By the way, the dog and cage that tumbled for 100 feet down the taxiway as it was blown off the baggage tug by a blast from an A300 Airbus was NOT my fault.)

After four years of listening to frequent flier members whine about their inability to utilize free rewards on the exact dates they wanted (by the way, "NO, I don't care that you can't sit next to your wife or kids on the flight.") Shawn went back to school to obtain a Masters degree in Computer Information Systems and the rest is career history.

When not building websites, Shawn spends his time with his wife and daughter, researching his family history, and serves as Chairman of the Castle Rock, Colorado Historic Preservation Board.                  ;-)
